Work begins in the fourth quarter and runs in three phases, sequenced so that no section of the network is taken out of service for more than a fortnight. The fifteen-year monitoring and maintenance mandate attached to the contract extends the relationship well past handover.
It is the largest single integrity award in the Group's history, and it lands in the discipline SAIT started with in 1998.
